Aluminum Access Lids

Our Door specifications are as follows:
6061 Aluminum floor doors. Constructed with 316 Stainless Steel hardware. 2 Patented torsion spring assemblies to assist opening; only 35 ft/lb. required to open the lid. Patented foot latch for safety. Our external lock box features a sliding deadbolt, and can be mounted internally as an option. 1-1/2 inch drain connection standard. Standard and custom sizes and pedestrian lids are available.

SPECIFICATIONS:
1. HINGE PIN/TORSION SPRING ASSEMBLY.  Specially designed hidden hinge pins and spring   assembly located underneath the cover plate for security control (see reverse for illustration).
2. LOCK DOWN ARM.  Cross bar latch featuring a single bar, lift/closure arm with cam lock on both arms.
3. FOOT LATCH.  All 316 stainless steel spring assist hold open foot latch.  Powder coated RED.
4. LOCK BOX.  Featuring a sliding dead bolt that secures the latch arm in closed position
5. 1/4 INCH-ALUMINUM.  Diamond-pattern tread plate reinforced for H20 vehicle load rating.
6. 1/4 INCH-ALUMINUM 4” ANGLE FRAME.  With anchor locks around the perimeter.
7. 1-1/2 INCH DRAIN CONNECTION. OPTIONS DEBRIS GASKET.  EPDM gasket reduces the amount of dirt and debris that may enter.
